Audio Documentary

An origin story is always a story that can leave a lasting impression on its audience. Origin stories tell an audience where certain actions, emotions, mentalities, and traditions commence. For my family and I, and our life in Canada, our origin story can be traced all the way back to the mid-1900s. This audio documentary captures the journey that my great-grandparents embarked on in order to provide their family with a better life. From the moment my great-grandparents left their small, southeastern Italian town, they were determined to create a better quality of life for all those who came after them, including me. This audio documentary contains interviews and soundscapes, as well as narration, to illustrate the story of how I came to be in Canada, what I have done with this blessing, and what I plan to do with it in the future.
